CSS explained
If you've ever used a word processor such as Microsoft Word, you'll be familiar with what CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) can do. Basically, CSS allows web designers to define graphical elements within a web page. We can define a font type or a font colour but CSS can also do much more than this.
Imagine, for example, we wanted to have a box on our web page with a nice looking border and some text inside with 10 pixels of padding between the border and the text - something that might look like a restaurant menu, for example. All of this is a cinch with CSS.
